Healthy Eating Options
By choosing to use organic products, you can drastically reduce the amount of chemicals that enter your body. Most skin care products on the market today have a combination of synthetic ingredients that contain a variety of harmful chemicals and synthetic preservatives.
To ensure you are putting only the best and most pure ingredients onto and into your body, you should take the time to read the ingredients label on the products you currently use. If you are not familiar with the ingredients, then chances are they should not be applied to your skin. Truly natural products are not only safer, but they also typically contain an array of beneficial nutrients that effectively heal damaged cells and capillaries, thus reducing the signs of aging.
David Brooke is an international model (Ford Models) who has worked for many high profile designers including Giorgio Armani, Guess by Marciano, Calvin Klein, and Hugo Boss.
Due to the various climate changes and endless amounts of products applied to his skin on any given day, David struggled for many years to find the cleanest product line that could help him maintain the healthy, even skin complexion demanded by the fast paced fashion industry. He developed a passion for organics, dedication to chemical free living, and valuable industry insight into organic products.
The Public Health Agency of Canada defines health living as “the practice of health-enhancing behaviours, or put simply, living in healthy ways.” One way that many Canadians are trying to live healthier is through changing their eating habits.
There are certainly lots of alternatives available. The Living Green Expo has assembled a “Power Panel” of three well-known local experts who will share their knowledge of three popular approaches to “healthy eating”.
This will not be a debate but will provide a one-stop opportunity for you to learn the advantages of three popular healthy eating choices: eating a VEGAN diet, going GLUTEN-FREE. There will be lots of time for questions from the audience. Don’t miss what is bound to be an informative and perhaps diet-changing workshop.
