How to read a status
Four labels, four meanings.
A dish only joins our gluten-free selection when a first-party menu labels it, either individually or through its category heading. We say which. Neither is a certification or a guarantee of celiac safety.
- Menu-labelled gluten-free
- The dish, or its whole menu category, is labelled gluten-free with no conflicting item warning or restaurant clarification.
- Confirm the complete dish
- Unlabelled, labelled only for the noodles, or built from choices. Ask before ordering.
- Menu warns: may contain gluten
- The restaurant’s own menu flags gluten. That warning overrides any broad statement.
- Not in our selection
- Fried rolls, wontons, bánh mì, fresh rolls #48, and dishes served with gluten-containing peanut sauce or crispy rolls, as advertised.
